April 24, 2018-- The Midwest Supermodified Series, in addition to the Adkins Glass Bike raffle, proudly
announces two more promotions for our youngest fans, The Junior Grand Marshall and popular Frisbee
The Junior Grand Marshal program, in conjunction with our partners at Lorain County Speedway,
Midvale Speedway, and Lucas Oil Raceway (formerly Indianapolis Raceway Park), consists of individually
numbered souvenir flags to be given away to the first 100 young race fans 12 and under. Prior to the
evenings feature event, a random number will be drawn from the flags given out. That fan will be the
Junior Grand Marshall for that night’s race! The lucky winner will get a great prize package, consisting of
a VIP trip to the Victory Lane festivities, photos with the driver and car, a personalized framed
certificate, and a set of junior flagman flags! It should prove to be an exciting night for one youngster!
MSS would really like to thank the owner/driver of supermodified #44 Mark Miller for his generous
donation of the flags for this program.
Our second program has been a favorite in the past, and MSS is bringing it back for the 2018 season -
The Frisbee Toss! Prior to the nights racing, we will have the drivers in attendance for the evening,
autograph a MSS logoed Frisbee. During the intermission we will have people tossing the Frisbees
randomly throughout the stands. One lucky winner, who’s signed Frisbee matches the winner of the
MSS feature will also get the VIP trip to victory lane and get to see up close all the excitement and meet
the driver. MSS would like to thank the owner/driver of the #30 supermodified Talon Stephens and his
wife Nicole for donating the Frisbees and helping to make this program possible.
The MSS really believes the children are the future of the sport, and we really want to include them in
our program. We hope racing becomes a lifelong endeavor for them, and we hope that we have
something to do with it.
See you at the races!
