JIM PALLER FIRED UP FOR THE NEW SEASON

By: Tim Church

Consistency is a word that you would use when you describe Jim Paller.  The last MSA champion won that championship without a feature win in 2017 due to consistent finishes.  But they are not satisfied.  Proof by what they did during the off season.

The JW Racing team purchased the former Jim Bodnar owned 94, also known as Fire driven by Dave Shullick Jr from 2013 to last year.  Safe to say this car has won a lot of races.  Shullick won the 2013 and the 2016 Sandusky Hy-Miler and the 2015 Star Classic.  With that being said, Jim does not feel any added pressure to do well with the new car.  No matter what car Jim has he will go out and race hard.

Jim Paller has been racing for nine years.  He started out by working as a crew member for some various teams.  At one point he was asked to drive and the racing bug had bitten him.  Shortly thereafter Jim and his family decided to purchase their own car and JW Racing was born.  He lists his first feature win at the famed Winchester  Speedway and being crowned the 2017 MSA champion as his biggest accomplishments.

As with every racing team sponsors are so very important, and JW Racing is no different.  Precision Welding Corporation, CMC Trucking, Steel Plate Akron, Cowboyz Chrome Shop, Morris Farm, Industrial Tube, Manka Design,  and Total Appliance are listed as the team’s sponsors.  Without them JW Racing would not be able to do what they do.

The JW Racing Team plan on running the full MSS schedule and some select ISMA races for the 2018 racing season.  They are looking to be competitive at every race they enter this year.  To be honest, if the 64 is in the pit area I look for them to be a threat to win.
